Is my home suitable?
Not all houses are suitable for Solar PV installation. The determining factor is where your house is positioned in relation to the sun. A south-facing property will be exposed to the strongest light intensity and generate more electricity, whereas a north-facing one would generate so little it wouldn’t be worth the cost of installing solar panels.
Whether it’s south-facing or not, your roof will need to be in good condition to support the solar panels, after all, they will last for at least 25 years.
To see whether your property would benefit from Solar PV installation, please use the checklist below. To arrange for us to conduct a free Government-accredited site survey, please contact us.
